The beloved Bugbusters, in front of a near-capacity crowd, were exterminated by the Hit Men 11-0 tonight.� The Bugbusters have only lost 6 games this season, and four have come at the hands of the Hitmen.� Lowlights included a meer 8 hits by the good guys, and two strikeouts.�Second Baseman Mike Ruberte came within a few feet of spoiling the shutout, but has only his three strawberries and a muscle pull to show for his effort.�Thankfully, much of the national media that was in the Bay Area for Barry Bonds' record-breaking HR had already left town; therefore this game�should manage to fly under the radar screen.��When asked by disbelieving outfielder Bob Sparacino if the Bugbusters had ever been shut out before, Manager Soria replied "oh, yeah, we have..."
